Villa de Merlo is located on the west side of the Sierra de los Comechingones at a height of between 850 and 1200 mts. above the sea level.
It is declared to have the third world microclimate and it offers average temperatures of 25 to 35 grades in the summer and from 20 to 7 grades in winter, which guarantees a lot of sunny days in the year.
Its high natural negative ionization has positive effects in our health.

VILLA DE MERLO
The first settlers arrived in the end of the XVIII century and we still have some of the first buildings.
From the forties, white wall constructions remain, with generous arches and Spanish tiles.
In the last years, its growth has been fast and the constructions imitate the country style from Buenos Aires: bricks, big windows, high chimneys and generous wood.
It has a complete infrastructure for tourism, a great variety of bars and restaurants, together with regional hand-made objects, a new casino with a wide schedule which offers shows almost every night.
Beatiful landscape and hundreds of tours over hidden corners or high places with fantastic views to the Valle del Conlara.
The city is the center of the picturesque coaster road of the mountain that leads to Traslasierra and Córdoba city through the spectacular Paso de las Altas Cumbres
